Brighter Future Child Protection Project
This project provides support to Orphans & Vulnerable Children through school fees, stationary,clothing, warmth and food. The organization relies on donations, unsolicited funding sources for the day to day running of this project. The project team hand over the donations to the identified Orphans or Vulnerable Children during Christmas & Easter Drives. This project also conducts mentor-ships and life skills trainings to the targeted beneficiaries under care. Through this project, Action for Youth Foundation Trust partners with Children’s Homes, the Department of Social Development, Individuals, Child Care Workers, Foster Care Parents and other partners to make to make it successful.
Provision of Menstrual Health Support
We promote mentsrual hygiene in schools located in hard to reach areas, where most of the adolescent girls and young women have little or no access to menstrual health information and services
OVC Mentorship Programs
Our organization conducts annual mentorship camps for Orphans & Vulnerable Children in Homes. During these camps the participants receives SRHR information, fighting drug and substance abuse, life skills training etc.

Donations Sourcing Handover
Action for Youth Foundation Trust conducts donation drives sourcing donations from communities, corporate companies and hand over them to the children’s homes.
The initiative managed to provide support to over 632 Orphans & Vulnerable Children since 2019.
Child Care Workers Mentorship
Community Child Care Workers (CCWs) are the representatives of the Department of Social Welfare in their respective communities. Action for Youth Foundation Trust conducts capacity building trainings with the Child Care Workers, strengthening their knowledge on Child Protection.
